I have setup groups and dependencies, but they dont seem to do any good when it comes to supressing downstream alerts.
For instance I have my remote site router as the parent of a site group. That site group contains everything at that site except the router. The group has a dependency between the group and the router object. When the line goes down, instead of getting one alert for the router, I get the router, and every single item within its child group.
IT worked when we first implemented it as soon as the feature was released, but somewhere during a subsequent upgrade it stopped working.
Any ideas whats going on?
