Hello
I received an email from Rob Hock telling me
As a valued customer, you’re invited to download the new Network Performance Monitor (NPM) v11.0 Release Candidate (RC). The Release Candidate is available for download in your customer portal.
Release Candidates are fully supported versions of NPM and are upgradeable from older versions of the software.
The big new feature in NPM v11 is the Quality of Experience (QoE) dashboard and associated Packet Analysis Sensors (PAS). With PAS, you’ll be able to remotely deploy an agent to a server to inspect all network traffic transiting an interface. This traffic is then analyzed for Network Response Time (NRT) and Application Response Time (ART) and displayed in the new QoE dashboard. With QoE, you’ll instantly be able to tell whether the issue is the network or the application server. Additionally, NPM v11 has the ability to identify and classify over 1,200 applications out-of-the-box. Your licensed version of NPM v11 comes with a dedicated Network Packet Analysis Sensor and Server Packet Analysis sensor to deploy either on a dedicated machine connected to tap/SPAN interface or installed on a server serving up the application (ex: a web server.) Try it today!
If you have any other feedback about NPM, please feel free to contact me directly. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Robert Hock
