Hi rupdegraff,
So, this is working as designed. The frame to think of "Events" in Orion is like a breadcrumb trail of what's happened in your environment and within the Orion monitoring system. To that end, it is reflecting events as it's seen them - NAS Volumes are getting created and destroyed - and this is separate from being "alerted" to these events as you do not think them "alert worthy" because they are expected operating procedure.
From what I've been able to research, there is not currently a way filter Events, although you can disable an event type entirely by modifying the database. In that case, you would no longer see Events for any NAS Volume that was created or destroyed or both depending on what you disabled. If you didn't want to see those Events in the main Storage dashboards, you could replace the default Event summary resource with a Custom Table resource that filtered out that Event explicitly. Those events would still be in the system, but you wouldn't see them on the dashboards.
Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming!
