We currently use an agentless system in our head office with PTP VPN between head office and our other offices (7) so security is not really a problem here. We are entertaining the idea of going agent based so that I will be able to monitor our ever growing mobile workforce. Echoing my comment on your last post (Re: Do you prefer agentless or agent-based monitoring? Are there situations where you prefer one over the other?), we do have some workers who are not in the office often enough for us to manage them efficiently (patch level, antivirus status...) so going agent based on those would put us at ease somewhat.
