Gideon, yeah good point.

This book is small is size, it is a single night of reading.  I know, engineers and business books don't usually mix but the concepts presented within the book have help me succeed in my engineering endeavors.   Mostly it was a good education is inter-personal skills between team members and how to capitalize on each engagement.  Some points put forward in the book.

Everything is going to fail to some degree, how bad is fails is dependent on how large of an achievement you were conquering.

Key to failure is embracing the failure, taking the momentum and refocusing efforts of team members to another "hill" to conquer while working to winning the war (aka meeting the goal)

No one likes to fail, and usually personal are energized by the idea of failure and ideas come out of the wood work when its visible.

Holistic approaches - Involve everyone that is a participant in a deliverable.

All companies who are successful know how to  "Bounce".  Business ebbs and flows, the trick is to flow higher each time you can because it will wane/fail sometime in the future.
