The DNSstuff report for my domain also gets this message. And it is complete BS. I read RFC5321. There is no mention of PTR records anywhere in that RFC.

Also, there are several spam filtering services which have paying customers. The one I use is AppRiver. This means my incoming mail goes to their servers (through a CNAME record, which points to them) and they forward it to my server. My mail server handles all outgoing mail directly. I have no control over the PTR record for their servers. As far as I can tell, this conforms to RFC5321 perfectly.

If I am wrong, and RFC5321 does mention PTR records, I would be grateful to anyone who can quote the relevant section.
